I use Cubase, and before that I used Reason and FL8.

I always ask what they do and stuff. Slowly they start getting into it and the bragging comes. It's fun to hear. I'm usually a bit on the low about what I do in real life. If they ask me what i did I'd most likely say: some tracks and e few remixes. Nothing much...
Sometimes, when i think they overdo it too much, i like to do namedropping which can be a lot of fun after the good old "So what is it that you do". Answer: Oh yea well, i got a couple of releases, 20 or so, several compilations... Best was probably remixing Gareth Emery and dj-ing abroad every now and then. That is usually where the conversation is at it's end. Hehehe. |

HAHA nice. i can't say anything, i just have to know myself how stupid they are, but can't make them realise it by providing myself as a better example :(

i just don't really say anything about it... , most people think production and djing are exactly the same thing :confused:
and then, as posted in this thread, even a large amount of 'producers' are just idiots who think they're awesome... i'm in it for the fun, not the fame, so i prefer just not to talk about it that much... :p |
