so... who do you think is the better director? these are, IMO, the two best directors of all time!

here's some examples of each of their movies:

Kubrick- 2001: A Space Oddyssey, Clockwork Orange, Full Metal Jacket, Eyes Wide Shut, and many more...

Scorcese- Casino, Goodfellas, Raging Bull, Bringing Out The Dead, and moany more...

Kubrick may well have been off his (see mad flying colours sequence in 2001) but some of the scene's and visions he created makes me rate him higher than Scorcese although i love his films too :D

Hard one, eyes wide shut is one of my favourites and clockwork orange

is nice as well.

I also like watching movies and if I have to choose one, it would be

Scorcese because I like all of his movies..

heheh, yeah that scene is pretty nutz! he always has the crazy sets and cinematography in his movies, you can really see what his vision is when he's creating the film. he has a way with contrasting colours and shapes that is just amazing. examples: the inside of the space colony thing in 2001, where everything is white, with those oddly-shaped red seats, or the club in the opening of "clockwork orange" with the women-tables, the secret party in "eyes wide shut" etc. :eyes:

scorcese came somewhat close with "casino", it was very well-done visually. scorcese's stories are always intersting, and maybe more captivating on a mass scale. heheh proxi, i love gangster movies too :D. with kubrick's movies, you either love'em, or hate'em.

i really like both, but kubrick wins in my books...
