The big plus is that unlike some other big promoters, Insomniac didn't oversell it at all. It was filled up perfectly so that everyone had room on the dance floor and upstairs.

I think Insomniac would love to oversell that . The problem is that it was 3 nights so they probably couldn't have oversold if they tried. Insomniac definitely oversells... see: TAO, EDC, etc.

Of course, but then there would be tons of pissed off people.

Guessing you haven't been to a Go Ventures or HARD event before? :) If you think Insomniac events are "oversold", what would you call those?

Doesn't Insomniac work with GV on some of those events??? Or is that just more of a lineup assistance thing with them.

I am sure either one would love to get as close to what the overall firecode allows them to have. The issue that can happen from there is that too many of those might want to be in one spot in the venue and that's where things get screwed.

I would call those oversold too... so I would call them "also and perhaps even more oversold"?
