btw does anyone know what time is PvD gonna play ? before or after NYE count down ? this is my 1st time in NYC so I don't know if it is better to spend the count down moment at Time Square for the famous ball drop thingy or in the club? |
Avoid the Times Square area like the plague, it will take you forever to get out of there. Not really worth it. |

| I avoid clubbing in general on NYE, I usually plan something with family or friends. I will be going to a private event the day after New Years tho. |

| Playa de Carmen looks awesome this year... I'll be hitting up Gareth Emery, Wippenberg and Arnej in Montral :). Sounds like it'll be fun, except they dont serve alcohol there for some reason... |

Lucky! I'm dying to go to Tokyo.
If you remember Trixie, who used to bartend @ Sin Sin, she's living right outside of Tokyo, hit her up on FB ;) |
Hmmmm, I don't think I know Trixie.
Let me see....thanks for the heads up.
I hope you all have fun in NYC! Just be safe :) |

As the hour gets later the need for beats increases. We’re happy to oblige with Pacha residents Richie Santana & Peter Bailey, cranking up the music of Mind Control to levels you can’t deny. Their sexy, sweaty tribal makes way for another overseas superstar: Spanish techno DJ Paco Osuna, a veteran of the first wave of acid house now known for this three-deck sets of dark synth rhythm. Meanwhile, upstairs in Pachita, a squadron of South American DJ talent heat things up all night long.
Night turns into day and 2010 sees its first sunrise. And inside Pacha, the party begins again, with the man himself, DJ Victor Calderone at the helm. “Techno” doesn’t even begin to describe Calderone’s masterful style, which brings together this New York native’s entire musical history. Big-room nightclubbing doesn’t get any bigger than this. |
