John 00 Fleming not using outboard mixer anymore?

I watched the most recent video of Fleming in the studio and it doesn't seem like he's using a big outboard mixer like he did on his previous video. In his old video he commented that the outboard EQ was special in isolating frequencies(I'm paraphrasing here) and that it was unique. Now in his most recent video he's using Logic's EQ and commented that working in the box has the benefit of unlimited channels.

If by new you mean putting out records since the mid 90's. :)

Thats exactly what I meant.;)
DJ RANN
I remember him playing when he was a local DJ in the underground clubs in London in that period. He used to play in railway arches and houses that had been turned in makeshift clubs.

Ahhh, those were the days

Here's the story with J00F.

I ran into his house in september 2008 so we could start working on a few ideas. He had tat huge desk, lots of outboard and hardware synths everywhere.

Still, we ended up working on my White laptop. After my visit, J00f went for a more ITB solution. And damn, that looks and sounds better now!

I love gear, synths of all kinds are my passion. But now with his new setup, I'm sure J00f will get more use of his (too short) spare time in his recording facility, and those are things he can easily take with him on his laptop so he can finish off work in a plane or in a train for example.

It was a Mackie d8b he was using
