The TRANZIT event series was conceived by Chicago electronic music DJs Mario Florek and DNA, and was designed for a few simple reasons. They wanted to create an event that centered around the music they love -- melodic, driving, uplifting, and floor-shaking trance. They wanted to present it in a big room and on a proper sound-system, in order to do this music justice. ...And they wanted to present it in such a way that the mood and atmosphere was not cheapened by some of the more unimportant aspects of nightlife -- cliques, the superficial, and the "see and be seen". It is simply about putting on a night filled with thought-provoking and energizing trance music that brings everyone in attendance together under one unified vibe.
