Probably the worst opening DJ I have ever seen performed before Tiesto
I think he was better suited to play the Friday night open format at the Playhouse!
Played nothing but outdated rock mashups that made the Funktion One system sound terrible. All distorted!!!!
To make matters worse he was acting like Oakenfold on stage jumping around; only difference was it was 1030PM
To add further insult he kept getting on the mic and announcing Tiesto
It was only when Tiesto got on that the system started to perform like it should ;)
The rest of the night was pretty smooth
Good crowd

if you didn't get there by 1015 you probably didn't get it... they hit occupancy soon after 11pm and shut the front door...
i had a lot of fun... i don't really listen to Tiesto so i can't compare it to other sets but thought it was good... |

| Walked in right around when Tiesto came on I knew the opener would be crap... I have never ever seen a crowd this good for an edm show in Los Angeles. The place was wayyy over capacity and I am 100 percent sure they had to pay lots of people off. The also had alcohol after 2 which was real weird I am not sure about the bar but people still had their bottles way after 2. Tiesto himself played a real good set compared to the last few times I have seen him which he blewwww. Overall it was a real good night!! |
