Tell me what you guys think of this?
I know ya'll have done this in the past... what if we got together some good old fashioned holiday cheer and had a get together?
Here's my great idea. We all get together at a restaurant/bar say around 6PM on Tues 12/22. We have drinks, merriment, and all around good times. I have a place in mind and they have DJ equipment there that they said we could use. And then anyone who wants (which all of you should) should go to Cielo for BiG MiKE and Alex Pearce! Open bar from 9-10.... OoOoO!
Didn't ya'll used to do a secret santa as well? How did that go? Maybe we could do that too.
What does everyone think?
Aiiite! Let me know how many people are interested so we can make this happen.

Yea we used to but people gave up because of lack of participation and old skoolers no longer posting and other politics etc etc. If you want to organize one and give it a try I support your endeavor ;)
If you do decide you want to do this change the thread title to NYTA Holiday Meetup / Secret Santa :p |

| Yeah, we did have a secret santa a few times I think around 2003-2006. They were a lot of fun, then drama came onto TA and nothing has happened since lol |

PT212. It's on 24th bet 5th and 6th. I was there last night and they're really cool. The drinks are delish, they have great reasonably priced Asian food, and I spoke with (I think, I was really drunk) the owner about it and letting ppl use their DJ equipment.
I'm hoping to get a good response on here and then put something together. If I hear enough people are interested, I'll make a FB event about it and spread the word. |

Sounds good. In the past I think the most they have been able to gather for these things is like 10-15 people max. In terms of now, there are many new people in the mix so it may be different this time around.
Either way I'm in for dinner and hanging out but Cielo afterward is still questionable. We'll see how it goes. If it doesnt work out then I guess I will see a bunch of you on the 19th at Rebel I hope ;) |
