Hiya Lads,

I come with something different this time. I had it in my mind for quite a long time, and now, since I'm kinda stuck abroad for a few weeks, I finally forged the thoughts into this carefully prepared mixset.
You will find the music relaxing, yet inviting to party. And it's easy to listen throughout, so I reckon it does brilliantly as a background and won't disturb anyone. Very positive vibe is present all the time, some say it's a beach party set. The tracks are relatively old now, but I think they are well programmed for the above purpose. If you're up to something light and funky, Interplay for example, you should definitely give it a try.

A quick scan through has me stoked to listen to it fully later tonight...

edit: I gave most of it a listen while i was closing up the restaurant tonight. Well you're right about the programming, it flows really well, you keep the energy level really high throughout, and the thick basslines coming. That is until Paper Jet came on. It's a great track but compared to the other ones it seemed to take the mix down a notch. Also I was disapointed you didn't let more of the track right before Paper Jet play, as you brought it in just as the peak of the song hits. I've always love the way that track starts off and then builds up, but the way you mixed it suddenly it it's just at it's peak.

I didn't have time to listen to the last few tracks yet but besides the two tracks mentioned above, I hadn't heard any one them and I really enjoyed all of them. I'll be giving this one many more listens.

Thanks for puting the thoughts here, I agree with you 100%. Paper Jet somehow changed the direction slighlty. And I indeed mix With You very late, at it's peak... just used the opportunity to mix the tracks with the same key in an unusual way.

I'm glad it did the work for you :)
Cheers!

Not really what I think of when I hear the term "soulful house", but there's some good stuff in there regardless, I will check it...
