so i've recorded a couple of mixes with "Magix audio cleaning lab" and it works fine with traktor the only thing that sucks is that when i do record i have to turn my master volume to 1-2 in order for the audio to not be distorted.....
im looking for a similar program that i can use at home and on the road without spending too much money
what do you guys use? |

| I sue Bias Peak pro 6 - the closest thing to wavelab on a mac and has the best editing and options of all the products I've tried. |

did you ever tried to record with traktor?
you can convert the wave file into mp3 with any free software
or just use the lamemp3 codec convertion via cli. |

Obligatory mention of Audacity.
But seriously, it is free and will do just fine for simple recording. |

Also make sure you've got a proper sound card and definitely don't try to record line level signals with a mic input.
Personally I use Sound Studio (on OS X) as it's simple and works very well and I got it for cheap. I got fed up with Audacity's bugginess. |
