I appreciate that any of these guys could kill me with a couple of punches, but I find lightweight boxing unbearable to watch; they punch so much and it does so little. It just makes me frustrated. |
obviously you haven't been watching manny fight because they have been nothing but short of boring. quite entertaining, although it sounds as if you're coming from the times where boxers were afraid of being knocked out. The passed cotto fight, you shoulda seen the cut and blood he was spilling.
I actually enjoy lightweights because they punch way more, also take much more. And when they go down, they go down lol. I can agree though, that during the end of the golden boy era, boxing was a bit held back. Boxers were going the distance to see the decision and not so much for the all out hail mary. Watch Manny box, he'll bring it and equally won't be surprised if he hits the canvas. I don't think floyd has it to keep up with Manny though. |

Not gonna happen.
| quote: | | If he wins the seat, it is not clear if he will fight Floyd "Money" Mayweather Jr. as was expected. This would surely be a disappointment to millions of fans who would like nothing more than to see "Money" knocked out. This will also play a vital role in his bid for a congressional seat; his 2007 loss is often credited to many of his fans who voted against him to make sure he would stay in the ring. |

And also, Mayweather has agreed to pay $10 Mill per pound over weight he may be if he comes in over weight, and by the ounce no less. Mayweather has also agreed to 8 oz gloves, unheard of in a welter championship fight, and ones that he consistently hurts his hands in.
Superstitious about needles? How many tatts does Pac-Man have again? |

his trainer thinks it hurts the body to have blood drawn so close to the fight. He does comply to testing right after the fight, which seems only fair.
Its a shame if the fight is off |
