hehe this is pretty funny fact i reckon :)
i e-mailed him a little while ago about where he got his sample for Last Man in the Universe (VERY underrated track imo!)and he sent me one back saying he did the track so long ago he cant remember! :stongue: :stongue: maybe he wasn't THAT inspired :) great samples though! |

Not just the Matrix, I've heard Terminator2 samples, and my favorite recent discovery while watching the movie Hackers. MFG sampled the line "I feel like god" in their tune, feel like god.
Another incident, I was watching that Star Trek episode where everyone gets addicted to this game, and I heard Wesley Crusher sampled saying "It's a psychotropic reaction" on a tune by the Infinity Project. They also sampled the girl Wesley was talking to.
There's a bunch of spoken word samples I would love to have identified. I pretty much identified most of the Star Trek ones on the first Information Society album. hehe
Where does Paul Van Dyk get "flamethrower" from? I hear that, or what sounds like a soft spoken female say that in some of his tunes on Out There & Back & Politics of Dancing. |

Show samples are a tad harder to identify cause I would have to recall the exact episode. Although I would love to hear some smoking man samples from X-Files...
One that stumped me, is "Leads us to the greatest of all human aspirations" on Poison by General Base. Sounds a bit like George Bush Sr, but dont for sure. I'd like to have that one, and the phrase "Where we're going, we dont need roads" by Ronald Reagan. |

I just heard the song, it is Photon Project - Enlightment. Excellent tune, maybe better than Illumination. Somebody mislabeled it and many people think they´re the same tune, but they are two different songs. |

heard this one a while back, I knew the sample was from the matrix but I hadn't seen it in a while, when I saw it again it was really cool to hear it. It seemed sureal
Riot Bros-Ripped out is a similar style and uses a really cool sample that goes something like.. "This is what we're calling global killing ..the end of mankind" ..I forget which film it's from tho:( |
