Since Lews and Teezdalien motivated me to do a mix once again, I present you the result. :D
As much as I like Goa and Psy, my true love goes for the classic euphoric and uplifting way of Trance with a lot of energy. This mix also is a reminder of what I actually miss in modern productions and sets. I can't really put it into words, just listen to it. Besides that I tried to show within the first hour what type of Progressive I like most. ;)
Ah, yeah...this is a pure vinyl mix. :)

Awesome vinyl mix!

Your mixing is great:)

I have a few of these vinyls.

I liked the way the tempo went up a couple of gears after Helsinki Scorchin.

Very inspiring mix:cool:

Thanks a lot, mate! :) Pressing a structure into a 1 hour set is usually not really working. So using like 2hours gives the whole a more global approach. But to be honest, I'm not so happy with my beatmatching...ah, whatever, I'm also not mixing that often... :D

Btw. most Prog nowadays is played so damn slow and stripped of a lot of energy and I wonder why. Anyway, it's a pitty that Perry O'Neil doesn't seem produce that stuff anymore.
Demoted
I'll listen to this. There's a lot of tracks I used to listen to back in 2005 on there and plenty of decent artists I recognize and also it looks smartly laid out. I still play some of that Perry O'Neil EP and other tracks like Numb and Recharge.

I kinda miss old Alex Stealthy stuff too.

I'll let you know how I like it.

Sweet! Just let me know what you think, especially regarding track selection and build up. :)

This is great mix mate. Really like a lot of these tunes and the flow is awesome. The mixing was really good apart from a few slips but aren't bad considering your mixing with vinyl. Will be listening to this again.:)

Thanks a lot! Well, one comment really made my day today:

quote:

that's my criticism of it, i'm 40 minutes in, and so far the progression has been almost oakey like.

unfortunately, so is the mixing :D

low level equipment is no excuse...

Get practicing dude, as your tune selection and structuring skills are excellent and i have a suspicion that with due practice there's a masterpiece of a mix in you
