Hello,
I dont own decks or DJ software on my laptop but need to record a mix to burn to CD. I can get access to two 800MKIIs and an Ecler Nuo mixer and was wondering which is the best way to go about this?
I have a Dell Vostro 1720 if anybody needs to know if my laptop has a soundcard, I'm not sure.
Thanks in advance for help |

Seeing as you have access to CDJ's then you might aswell use them.
Assuming your laptop has a line-in connection, you need Audacity and an RCA to 3.5mm jack cable.
Run the cable from the record out on the back of the mixer to the line-in on the laptop, press record in Audacity and Bob's your Mother's brother. |

| Is the line in on the laptop where I plug the headphones in? I've got a headphone input and a mic input, which would it be? Thank you for your help by the way, greatly appreciated |
