My latest mix, entitled “Takeoff” had been in my head for awhile…was looking for some great tunes to take you on a soaring journey. Ironically enough, it all started with Robbie Rivera’s “Departures” but I knew from the moment I heard it, that it would be the closer. A lot of great tunes in here, from some electro to progressive and even a hint trance too. Two great tracks (Sorry/Laktos) I heard at Electric Zoo in NYC this past Labor Day enhanced the whole flying/excitement feel I wanted to make. Coming to a close, towards the end a little more of a relaxed feel...the bass is still there; but less electric and more groovey (i think)...as another journey in life comes to a close.

that Sorry remix used to be a huge anthem in Philly. still gets me goin :D
i think my fav was the Shik Stylko mix of Smile When You Kill Me.
totally forgot i had that on my HDD, should listen to it more often.
what's buggin me is that melody that Perfect Moment uses it.
i know its from some old epic trance tune but i forget the name
as far as You Can Be the One, i swear i've heard this somewhere, either out at a club or...somewhere...don't remember but it's awesome :D |

first time i ever heard it was at EZ this year; and when i came back and looked around i was surprised it was 2007 lol. |
