Bedroom DJ with a Monthly Mix here! Prog Trance/Prog House

Hi all.

I'm a bedroom DJ and have been for around a year or so now and I've been doing my own monthly mix (Kinda like Thrillseekers' Night Music Podcast) after being heavily inspired by AvB's ASOT and A&B's TATW.

I have a small fan base but I'd like to increase it and tried putting it out there on Anjunabeats Forums but was warned to avoid being banned and taken down for illegally distributing music...which I think is a load of crap since distribution of music means publicity which ideally translates to increased interest/fanbase and exposure (fact was proven that music artists/producers make more money doing live performances and shows rather than selling CDs). But that's an argument for another day.

I'd like to share here so I can increase my exposure to the Prog trance crowd.

My show is called Trancisions and I come out with a new mix at the end of every month to showcase the newest in progressive trance and progressive house.

My style is best described as heavily influenced and similar to that of Above & Beyond's or Armin van Buuren's.

My mixes tend to be around 2 hours long and without interruption or comment (I am lacking a microphone for my computer at the moment).

So if anyone is interested in checking it out my Blogger site is listed just shortly below. Please don't bash me as I'm just an amateur bedroom DJ and still learning (who isn't). But as far as I'm concerned, I'm doing pretty decently.

I came here also for was because my next mix I need everyone's input...especially my style reflects and is heavily inspired by TATW and ASOT.

My next episode is going to be my 15th mix ever, and just in time for Xmas/holidays/end of the year.

That said I need everyone's recommendation for their top favorites of 2009. Have to be released in 2009 and 2009 remakes (such as Lange's Happiness Happening 2009) are more than welcome.

So I appreciate everyone's input.

Thanks everyone.
