interesting to see that some people actually give a about this.
i dont listen to asot as much anymore, but the top 20 is usually the worst episode of the year. it is similar to the djmag poll |

Hate to say it but I've gotta agree. From what I remember, listening to ASOT years ago, tons of great trance was produced all year and then people would always vote the 20 weakest tracks onto the list. I think Armin's yearmix episodes were always better than the ASOT top 20. |

I remember one year good for me won .. above and beyond.
the following year the anjuna fans voted for my boyfriends remix of Good For Me in top 20. People were bitching and complaining (since it won the year prior) but it was all the anjuna fans voting for "omfg Above and beyond"

| ASOT is a complete mockery of trance at this point. If it was called "A state of uplifting trance" at least i would respect it. |
