Goin to Vegassssss.... help a n00b out!

so im goin to vegas for superbowl weekend and im excited as hell! never been (i know shocking) and im goin balls to the wall so i need your help
what are the coolest places to party, drink, eat, things to see, do.... blah blah blah

Or at least get a better view. Some hotels are all suite like the Rio and Wynn. If you have a choice of strip or mountain views, take the mountain, it is so much nicer. The strip isn't very nice looking during the day. When I say strip, I mean in town. Where are you staying, btw? The best view in Vegas by far is at the Rio's Voodoo lounge at the top of the hotel but since the Rio is off the strip, only worth it if you're staying there or going to play(they are off the strip so your odds of ing a novice are great). If you check for parties that say local or industry night, go to that. It is full of fun locals who might show you around. I got to know Vegas because a good friend works at the Wynn. She used to work at Rain and I was there with her in February- Saturday is good and the wristband is a good deal, open bar top shelf and champagne for around 100, not sure, we didn't pay for it. If you're staying there, ask for the band comped with your room. You also want to hit Tao and sometimes Pure, the other clubs are ok, just crappy music(which is a common theme). Btw, alcohol is 24/7 there so you don't have to stop drinking at 4:am. |

There is always something going on. I went to Moon and loved every minute of it. I also happened to see Markus there so yay :D

Whatever you do, don't elope in Las Vegas. It's fast, relatively cheap, and makes a great story. But the hangover of a spouse + lawyer fees for the divorce isn't worth it.
Although I admit, if I had it all to all over again, I still would've married that rat bastard con artist. It was a fun night. But he racked up a lot of debt on our joint credit cards and then had an affair and put all his presents to her on the credit cards. And stuck me with the bill. But he's been history for 5 years now, so I can laugh about it now. Sort of. |
