So I will be in Sydney for 2 weeks.
February 5-19
I a have accomodations already for the first week.
I am looking for accomodations for the second week Feb 12-19.
Can someone recommend some affordable hotels? Will be traveling with the girlfriend so needs to accommodate 2 people.
I looked a little, and found some hotels for $80-90. Does anyone know of any better deals? What about renting an apartment or something for a week?
Any info would be appreciated.
thanks :) |

here my 2 cents.. as no one has mentioned anything. Im not from sydney but in Perth. look depending on what time your rock up in Sydney it may be best just to walk around and find a cheap one. Though saying that some are cheaper if you book in advance, and in particular rooms you book online as they generally offer specials over 5 days etc
just do a google search tonns of online hotel booking sites".
Cause its Australia you cant really negotiate price like central or south america but giv it ago!
hope that helps |

yeah solid advice. just walk around with your luggage, hopefully you'll find something.
lol.
try wotif.com mate, they usually have the best prices for accomodation.. although 80-90 is pretty cheap to be honest? unless you wanna go to a backpackers or some like that |

Haha yeah great idea.
Yeah I know 80-90 is really cheap. I was more talking about apartments. Seems like I can get one for like $250 for a week, but they all have a 2 week min. As far as backpackers and hostels go, I would but no way its gonna happen with the gf.
Thanks for the info |

Use wotif buddy... its the best for worldwide.. you can do very specific searches and they provide a lot of information.
All my accommodation in Osaka, Kyoto and Tokyo was booked through wotif and I had no hassles. |
