I wouldn't say its like facebook, but kind of. It is e-mail, "forums", instant msgs, networking, sharing all in one.
However similar to e-mail it may be it is quite different. When e-mailing back and forth with someone for example, the msg isn't actually sent back and forth. It's a msg that is stored in both of your inboxes and can be expanded upon. You can reply to any part of the e-mail, and if they other person is online at the same time, they will see you typing out the e-mail live.
Its hard to really explain, but it is great. I've been using it for a month and really like it. I just hope they somehow figure out a way to merge g-mail with gwave. |
