Thank you very much, i´d love to go but i´m off for the christmas vacations those days! Hope there are more Trance Addict parties!!!
that's too bad, because TOTA parties always rock, and it's a good chance to meet people who you'll be partying with all over Toronto :p
if you see a TOTA social event like wings night or whatever, come out and introduce yourselves. you'll meet a lot of great people who love same music you love this way

This is the nicest "I'm new to Toronto and/or TA" thread I've seen in ages. I'm not a huge trance fan at all but thought I'd post and say....
Welcome!
A TOTA Christmas miracle?

We'd never get such a welcoming vibe in the Montreal forum. What's the deal? Glad it's still to be found somewhere :D

Hello again everyone and thaks for the warm welcome!!!
Well I followed your piece of advice and went to Guvernment yesterday to Benny Benassi. AMAZING!!!! I really enjoyed my time and danced like I hadn´t danced in a long time!!!
I had interesting chats with people there too (the ones you can expect in a club) although friday+saturday going out without good sleep was a bit tiring so I went home at 3:10 more or less.

So, if it´s ok and to let you guys know, I´ll just start with a small guide of what someone between 1998 and 2004 would listen in clubs and radio stations if he was into trance music in the north of Spain. Depending on the part of Spain you lived in those years, you would get different styles dominating the big clubs. In the north regions you would get Trance, Progressive, hard trance, in the Norhteast it would be more hardhouse, happy hardcore, trance and progressive and in the south it would be similar as in the North but with more Break Beat. The Madrid area had many influences and you could finde many styles and the Balearic Islands is another world!:) This is just orientation, nothing fixed.
I´ll divide it into 3 stages, being the first one the years i started to go to clubs without the legal age yet.
1) the classics: Before going to Uni and driving to other places I stayed in my hometown and moms hometown and started feeling the need for more and more trance music. It was with songs like the following I started to love it..(oooo the classics...this was being heard in the north )
hope you enjoy them..i´ll try and do the next years soon! My personal favourite, is Destination Sunshine.
