Was def a great night. I honestly was not expecting Blank & Jones to be so explosive and powerful. Their intro was not exactly my favorite but after a couple of songs, I really started to get into it.
Shogun really rocked the house after them. One of the best closing sets I've experienced at Circus so far.
Norin & Rad always lays it down and did a great job opening up for Blank & Jones. They dropped their new song which can be heard on Markus Schulz's new compilation: Las Vegas '10 which is going to be released in February.
To those who were there early enough for my set, I hope you enjoyed it.
I cannot wait for Tritonal and the rest of the February line-up!!!

I've seen the guys play several times and the sets have been mostly fluff each time so I expected exactly that. And of course they played some fluff on Saturday too but not as much as before so I was impressed :)

What a night, so awesome to be (finally!!) able to meet other like mind people who share the same passion with trance music. I were only able to meet apattack, malia and a few other TAs but it was worth it to come here all the way from Canada to party, everyone is so friendly, knowledgeable who truly into the music and that really made my night. TA = AWESOME. My greatest moment of the night when I realized Aruna is in the club and were able to talk to her a little bit. She went to Vietnam for her X-mas debut live show but sadly since I were studying in Canada I werent able to see her back then, and from that debut show her career has taken off since. She is very down to earth and nice to talk with. Amazing person.
The venue is awesome too, big enough to host massive party, has space for people to do lightsticking/glowsticing/jumpstyle/orbital/hullahoop but still have that personal/intimate feeling of a small club, unlike Roseland Ballroom in NY or Shaw Conference Center in Edmonton (my town). So many asian in the club, like 50% of the capacity haha.
Such an amazing night filled with trance music. I know the night was gonna be good because the DJ was playing “Rex Mundi – Nothing at all” when I came. OMG around 11… and then more trance anthems were played, ch00ns that I have listenned 2938273823 times in my ipod/computer but never have the chance to listen in a club setting with laser, lighting, massive speakers, etc. Then B&J, his opening song was meh =( but it is getting better and better after that. A bit disappointed that he didn’t play “Mind of the wonderful” and “Perfect Silence”, oh well. The DJ after B&J was pretty good too.A&B ONNNNNNNN A GOOD DAY!!! I think I screamed my lung out on this one lol :clown:
Norin&Rand & Shogun = awesome!!!!!! they played Aruna - All the way while Aruna was on the stage or something, and many other epic trance anthems!1 I have been to Markus, AvB, etc show in my city but the before and after DJ didn't play as much good trance as those guys...
I had to take a bus to Las Vegas so I didn’t have the chance to reply until now, thank again everyone for the memory, I am gonna remember this trip forever, and next time I am in LA I will definitely check out Circus again, this is even better than PvD on NYE at NY. Hopefully next time I can be on the TA group pix at the patio :D , missed it this time :sadgreen:
<3 <3
thanks Malia for letting me tried on the hullahoop and the B&J t-shirt , you're awesome

Dunno this track, if it's one of their old ones, I've never heard it (which makes me think that it's not). :) Occasionally someone on YouTube ID's the tracks, so check back again sometime and it might be there.
I almost wonder if Blank & Jones started off their set kinda meh on purpose to test the crowd...if everyone was going crazy and jumping all over the place to those first few songs, then they knew they could destroy the place later in the night! ;)

It was nice to meet you too Mgz. Glad I wore my orange hat that night.
Let us know the next time you are in LA. Circus is going to keep getting better.

It was a quick run but we had a great time talking with friends and watching the goth stuff. Btw, nice meeting Mgz!
Awesome time! Thanks to my P.I.C. for kidnapping me and taking me up there :toocool: ;)
What a great vibe and great crowd that night. When we cruised into the main room and heard Blank & Jones tearing it up, we were like: YEAHHH!!!
(Had such a great buzz though, that if they played any fluff, I didin't hear it:tongue2 )
