Hello,
I have been a regular participant in the New York regional forum for the last few years. In an age where it is increasingly difficult to sell one's music, I previously enjoyed the privilege of occasionally advertising a new release in this section (both original productions and label work), as many of my local friends participate in this specific forum (but do not check the general "new releases" archive in the main forums). However, it is my understanding that tranceaddict policy dictates that such posts in regional forums should be immediately moved to said "cd reviews / new releases" section in the main forums.
I wanted to kindly suggest that each regional forum have the option of creating a permanent archive to showcase the work of local producers in that specific region. The moderators would be in a position to determine which of these posts were legitimate and which were spam (from artists outside of the region, from members who never participate in any other regional dicussion, etc.)
