I like Beyer. But this UMEK guy plays different & does not around. He was relentless, and overall played much harder and faster than what Beyer played at the loft. He banged out mostly old school style hard techno, with high BPMs and very heavy basslines. Some funky techno as well later on, yet not minimal, not even close.
Between 2:30 and 3:30 he was on a in tear dropping bomb after bomb of super hard and fast techno. Around 3:30 he brought down the tempo a bit and started dropping funkier tracks that would build up nicely, each seeming to culminate in nasty breakdowns with heavy basslines. I went to the terrace at 5, and think he ended at that time.
Hope Space brings him back
