They probably wont get the mail in time but I've just sent a simple message that clears my conscience. I tipped the senate off, and added to my FBI file.
"Hi,
Someone on a webboard stated they have information a male democrat from a western state, (a senator) intends to cheat on his wife, and is planning a trip to meet with the girl he intends to have sex with. I felt morally obligated to remind this person that you may be used either by exposing the affair or otherwise, and that you could consider your carear or family before you put your peter in the folder. Although this could be rumour, I thought I would atleast do what I consider a moral duty and let you know that your weekend lovefest could bring more than just gratification but instead exposure online and in the media." |
:stongue:
I'm sure they'll dig deep into that one once they check out your blog. Keep your worries north of the border dude.
EDIT: did you not read my post from earlier? I declared that I wasn't going to the guy over. when did you become the morality police anyway? |

The simple answer should be:
"Because, you ing uneducated, gun toting, moron, a person who ends up in hospital costs you in the long run 10 times more than they would if you had treated them early. So by not giving everybody at least a decent form of basic health cover, you're dooming your public system to years of sick and poorly treated patients that cost the country countless billions in lost healthcare. Something like a statin will cost the government a decent amount of money to treat somebodies cholesterol over the course of the rest of their life, but it will be comparatively far less than if they have a stroke/infarct, end up in hospital, need people to treat them, need more medication, possibly never be able to work again, lose core body functions etc etc etc" |
I agree with you, but the fundamental misunderstanding about the current bill in Congress is that it doesn't even represent a rise in cost! Republicans bandy about the 800 billion dollar figure because it's a soundbite, but that is the cost displacement of current health care expenditures, which are projected to be about 900 billion over the next ten years. That's actually a fairly substantial decrease in overall costs! And still the Republicans refuse to negotiate.
| quote: | Color me unsurprised that Barack Obama didn't mention the public option in his remarks to the Senate last weekend. One of the dynamics that hasn't really penetrated in this debate is that the Obama administration is mainly interested in the cost controls. The president will throw the public option overboard if Susan Collins asks him nicely. Conversely, Peter Orszag will lay down in traffic to save the Medicare Commission. Generally, Democrats want to reform the health-care system because they want to cut the number of uninsured. The Obama administration's commitment to health-care reform stems from their belief that it's the first step towards cutting long-term deficits.
That's why it's been so depressing to watch the Republicans and conservative Democrats who base their opposition on cost control prove stubbornly unwilling to cut a deal that would control costs. The Obama administration would support pretty much any cost containment device that could pass Congress. They'd cap the employer tax exclusion, create a Medicare Commission, bundle every hospital payment in the country, support a strong public option, whatever. But there has been no bloc of votes interested in a deal along those lines. Instead, the conservative Democrats have contented themselves with killing the public option and the Republicans have committed themselves to killing the bill. That's left liberal Democrats like Jay Rockefeller to advocate everything from progressive ideas like the public option to conservative ideas like the Medicare Commission. |

It's insanity really - Republicans are simply taking advantage of widespread public ignorance for political cover in refusing to legislate for the public good. |

Why has no one said anything about this Allison slut?
You can talk to her with nothing to lose.
Tell her what a disgusting slut she is and ask her how she would feel if her dad was caught ing another woman. How would her mom feel? Tell her to think of the man's family before she does something like this. (Yes I know this scumbag has probably cheated on his wife before, but that doesn't make this any less disgusting)
I tend to blame the women in these situations because I believe they have at least an ounce of reason in them. Men, especially in their 40s and 50s, seem obsessed with the idea of ing younger women so they are pretty much hopeless. Honourable mention goes to Zild for highlighting my point here. |

What's insane is that you remain undeterred by the string of factual information from my rebuttal post yesterday, proving the "no cost" and "for the public good" myths. Hello... 68 million middle class to see premiums go up (but lets focus on the 3 million who's will go down). In typical Washington fashion, you're following the theme that politicians know what's best for everyone, even when the majority disagrees; they just must not be enlightened enough to understand and thus show their widespread ignorance.

haha... yeah that Allison slut is a piece of work. She has this old ass basset hound that constantly farts and stinks up their house. She also had the repo man come take her car a few weeks ago (yet her family is rich as ). I guess they cut her off financially a while ago because she's so ing irresponsible. |

Alright. Put your thinking caps on. What sort of creative ideas would you suggest, given the situation that is about to present itself to me next weekend?
Here's the deal: Went to dinner tonight with my wife, a business client who's become a really good friend over time, and his girlfriend who we will call "Tanya". Tanya lives 3 streets away from me in my neighborhood. Her roomate, "Allison", is from some super rich family in another state. Her family is tied into the politics of that state. Tanya can't stand her roomate, who's basically a gold digging pretentious bitch.
So Tanya tells us tonight that her roomate Allison is having one of the Senators from her state flying in to Charlotte next weekend for a weekend -fest. She met him at a wine tasting over Thanksgiving weekend when she was back home. The Senator is a Democrat, and he's married. He will be staying at their house because he doesn't want to get a hotel and leave a paper trail. I looked at his website tonight, and the scumbag has lovely photos of his wife/family on there to go along with his "family values and dignity" image he portrays. Next Saturday, Tanya is going to have my wife and I come over and throw a little dinner party... the Senator will be there, and evidently believes his identity is a secret, and is going to be incognito; he'll have no idea that we know who he really is. Photos will be taken... I can guarantee you that!
So............................... what would you do if you were me? |
Wait you live in charlotte? Invite my wife and I so can be part of some exciting scandal, every party needs at least 1 Canadian. We are great with igloo, and polar bear jokes.
Anyways all jokes aside. take pics, sell them to any/all media. |

Because she's a slut and everyone appreciates sluts. You should try being a little more slutty yourself. Like, ask some random dude for a threesome once in a while.
... Oh wait...! |
