Creating an IRC channel on mirc

I would really apprciate it if someone could take me through the process of creating an IRC channel. I'm finding the majority of online guides stupidly confusing.

you have to be more specific, it all depends on which server you would like to have a channel, each server has its on services which all are run differently and have different userlevels/syntax commands etc...
if you want a channel on efnet, there are no channel services so just walk in to the channel first and its yours
if you want a channel on dalnet, first join the channel, if you are the only on there then type /msg chanserv register help
that will send u a memo about registering channels
the same command can be used on most networks that run channel services
if u want to register a channel on enterthegame ( i run one on there)
u must speak to an ircop ( admin) and tell them, then they will create it for you |

As it turns out I had an error with my copy of mirc, so I installed the new version and everything was fine and dandy :) |
