Hi,since a couple of days i've been facing this wierd problem.
I have a Pioneer 106DvD(16xDVD,40xCD) and whenever i put a cd in and take it out after a while, mostly for games that use cd's much -like GTA3-,it is hot! I mean,it can't burn you but its really warm! Could something be wrong? Note that the temperature here is high enough, could that be the problem?

| i dont think its anything wrong, its just because its spinning around for a long time, i never take games out of my computer when i am done playing them though, cuzi dont switch games, but in my car when i switch cds, sometimes they are hot, like you said, warm to the touch and not hot enough to burn my hand, it never messed any of my cds up |

yeah
my cds gets hot when i play them with my dvd-rom too
i dunno why it does that because it doesn't get warm in my other cd players
shouldn't be a problem though |

| It's normal.. The CD spins at a very high speed, friction occurs (that's why the cds get scratched by the use too), and by the laws of thermodynamics, heat is prodiced, duh? :) |
