How do I join tracks together?

So I bought this mix set in Switzerland , and now I got this problem.
There are 18 tracks in total , and when I played the CD , I expected it to be one whole big mp3 file. If that is so , that would be easy to rip.

But the problem is , now it actually appears to be 18 mp3 files ... yeah 18 tracks played in WMP to give you one whole track.

So if I rip the entire CD , I get 18 tracks , not one whole mp3 file.

And my question is , how do I join this 18 tracks together to give me 1 mp3 file?

Sorry for my ed up english..

btw the CD was this

Bought it in Interlaken :)

I'm sure you did.

Why would you want to join it all together? This just makes it easier to skip parts if you didn't feel like listening to them.

Thanks dude I will surely check it out later .

@ pwmnage1

well I wanted it to be one whole long mp3 file , something like typical livesets from radio shows , one whole mp3 file.
So that I dont need the CD everytime I want to listen to the set..

download EAC (Exact Audio Copy), go to Action>Copy Image & Create Cuesheet. this will give you one wave or mp3 file with a cuesheet.

alternatives for mac? seriously id like to merge most of my edm-albums actually, even those who arent mixed, and im therefore looking for a good way of doing this without to much of a humblebumble. would clean up my iTunes very much. I never listen to one and one song anyway, i always listen to whole albums.

i did some googlin and for anyone who use mac this might be good info;
just use terminal and the following command:
cd /pat-to-your-mp3-files/
cat *.mp3 > album.mp3
seems to work on linux too.

oh the tracks should be named in order like, 01_track1.mp3, 02_track2.mp3.

the resulting track will have the id3 from the first track.
