Squilly played some good tunes, but I thought he failed to break the threshold. He'd play a really good banger, but then bring it back down again. Carlo picked it up when he came on after, and when Squillace came back on again, I thought he'd follow suit, but again he played one ripping track, and then brought it back down. It's not like he played a bad set, but I was expecting a bit better from him.
It was still a great party, and I had a lot of fun. Fun crowd and everyone seemed to be in good spirits.

I agree with Jon Jon and Graham...I was going in with expectations of Family Day and DEMF when he in RIPPED IT!!
He was playing too conservative IMO and didn't really "unleash" as I've seen him in the past.
Dont get me wrong, the music was good, lots of goooooood grooving tunes, couple bangers here and there, its just I KNOW he could've turned footwork into a zoo and we were waiting to be released from our cages it just never happened...
I was in the back and I knew right away when Carlo came on, more upbeat. He saved the day for me again :) He played the perfect afterhours music for the time/place, it was just reaaaaaaally suited and when it was time for me to leave I got my jacket and heard a tune that i had to run up to the front and groove off the speakers for another 10 min while making my friends wait outside in the cold cuz I said I'd only be a min (LOL sorry guys :stongue: )
All in all a good night out
