Stuart Langelaan is one of the UK's most consistent trance producers having turned out a string of top drawer original productions and remixes for the best part of the last decade and 'Wanderlust' sees him on Anjunabeats for the first time under his resurrected Firewall guise. Previously showcased on Anjunabeats Volume 7, the Original Mix is a bristling cyber trancer powered by buzzing synths, punchy beats and rumbling basslines with some catchy melodic hooks thrown in for good measure.
Taking charge for both remixes is Sunny Lax. The first is more akin to his newly discovered, almost progressive sound, whilst the second harks back to Levente's style of old; delightful cascading electronics, trancey breakdowns and a warm persona take it away from the bleaker soundscapes of the original and bring the package to an uplifting conclusion. |
