One time I had a server headache, I put on my headphones and listened to Gouryella - Tenshi (Original) on repeat, made me not think about my headache, so I listened for awhile, and when it was time for class it was gone :)

This can happen with anything that distracts you and puts your mind at ease. Some music does that to me, mostly trance though.
