What do you like to do in Prague/Berlin?

| So TA stands for Travel Agency, right? In that case, I was wondering if anyone has opinions about hostels/cheap hotels in Prague and/or Berlin. I'll be traveling with a mate to Berlin for four days in mid-January, and afterwards we'll be on to Prague for three days. We are ideally looking for a place to stay in either of these cities that is located near clubs ("discotheques") or other interesting places to go. On that note, if you have been to Prague or Berlin then I am also interested to hear about what you like to do in either city, even if it doesn't involve music/drugs/sex trafficking. And if it does, then please don't spare the details. Ready, go. |

| I'm sorry, but there is actually nothing to do in either of those cities. |

What kind of music are you into?
If it's techno, all the good places will most likely refuse to let you in. The decent ones like Berghain are apparently quite tough on foreigners, let alone yanks. |

I can't speak for Prague, but when we were in Berlin for our classtrip, we stayed at a hostel called Hostel am der Zoo iirc.
Located right next to the Zoological Garden. Pretty much in the middle of the city. Was really cheap. Bunkbeds and .
The lounge area was cool tho, biljards table and drinks in the bar :D
Great chinese place directly under us, sex "utility" shop right next door to that. Really shabby place.
We were 16-17 at the time tho, so didn't go to any clubs, just pubs... |

:wtf: :wtf:
Can't speak for Berlin, but I was in Prague for a week and had an unbelievable time. Great scenery, historic/cultural stuff to see, excellent drinking for cheap, and went to some pretty amazing nightclubs. Who'd you go there with, your grandma!? OH SNAP! :stongue: |

Notice how I didn't ask, "What's there to do in these cities that isn't limited to me because of my nationality?" I'm very good looking, so this shouldn't be a problem. Or I could just ask "leph555" where all the kool kidz "hang out." |
