| So is there anything special going on for NYE in Chicago? I am trying to aviod the typical Top 40 Hotel parties. I see Crobar and Vision have things going on but no details on line-ups any advice? |

I'm very curious about this too. I'm going to be passing through Chicago on the way back to Canada (bought a new car and am driving it back). We are going to be in Chicago for NYE and are looking for something to do. Something playing decent house/trance etc. I can't find anything that looks terribly promising.
I have seen the Crystal Method before, and unfortunately they were rubbish. Crobar's lineup consists of Alex Peace and some local Dj's it seems.
Is there anything going on of a significant nature, or do club owners realize people are going out anyway and not book anything?
