Agreed!
When asked why Ontario's scotch selection is so poorly represented, liquor brand reps consistently refer to the LCBO's unreasonable control (restriction) of brands and expressions. Time and time again.
And no OPSEU!
I don't see a down side.
Mind you, privatization of Ontario's energy grid is another matter. Not saying I'm for or against, but the decision doesn't seem so obvious to me. |

| I don't know whether or not I support privatization, but does it really make sense to sell off your most prized and profitable government run businesses for a one time lump sum? Does this make any sense in the long term? anyone? anyone? |

Try the 15. It's quite sweet and rich. Easily superior to the 18. Probably better than the 30yr which I had the rare oppertunity to sample in October. |

for those of you love scottish whiskey, there is this pub called the Highlander Pub near Rideau Mall in Ottawa that has loads of different whiskey that you can try out. Rideau St and Nicholas St in downtown.
don't try the haggis though. too peppery |

For those of us in Toronto, Allen's Restaurant on the Danforth has easily the best whisky selection. 309 whiskies, 208 of which are single malts. Also, the food is excellent & prices are good.
I say screw the LCBO, start makin your own liquor & buy a flask!
Now, who's up for some moonshining? |
