So I was in Wal-Mart again (yeah I know) and came across this tiny RC Car for $20 i figured what the hell and bought it. When I was younger i was really into RC cars and had one called the raptor it went 17mph lol it was fast for back then. I was notorious when i was young for destroying electronics and making new stuff out of them. Me and my best friend josh were pros. We were in third grade and managed to make a helicopter that flew for 20 seconds before crashing it into the side of the house. Good times.
Well this little car I bought surprisingly had a hell of a lot features but built poorly. The car was actually pretty fast but the reverse wasn't, it sucked! After playing with it for a while the steering blew out so i said screw it and am in the process of making it SFC (Super ing Cool). It took 3 AAA batteries so I'm taking all that jazz out and putting a 9V for some REEAAALLL POWWWAAAA. And putting 2 red LEDs on the bottom of it for some ground effects.
I love doing this ! Anybody else into this sorta thing?
Heres what i got going on so far. Where those two black wires are used to be the connections for the batteries. The wire i had stank so i put some liquid latex for more support so i don't have to keep soldering them.
