All praise to our elected officials. No longer shall we endure the scourge of having to move our fingers an inch or two!

Irritated by loud commercials, Rep. Anna Eshoo, D-Calif., drafted the measure after discovering it was a common complaint with the Federal Communications Commission.
Rep. Cliff Stearns, R-Fla., addressed critics who have asked why Congress has to get involved in the matter.
“You can say, ‘Well, that’s fine. Just turn it off,’” Stearns said. “But it’s constantly an irritant when you have to do it. And we’ve got all the new bowl games coming up.” |

Im hearing that there's some new kind of ad on the net that you can't view the site unless you watch the ad and verify what was in it like a test.

I hear that, but if I want to watch some live television, I don't need Such and Such Car Dealership screaming about how they have low prices for the holiday. Plus, I lost the remote to my receiver, so I have to get up every time I need to change the volume. |
