And this is nothing like that simplistic Deadmau5. If you actually had the patience to hear this track your you'd hear the creativity in the beats, breakdowns, and even the kick thrown in at opportune moments.

I'm not affiliated with him at all and that's the honest truth. I'm not a promoter of any sort.
I guess this board hates progressive house (aka trancey house).
Song has a great breakdown and build and you're just missing out. |

No, just bad music.
There is absolutely nothing original in this track. And as if that wasn't enough the whole track sounds very amateurish. The intro synth sounds like a softsynth preset, the beat is weak, the percussions are practically nonexistent (and the ones that are in there are laughably outdated). The structure is also off - it takes way too long before anything interesting happens, and when it does it's just the tired old 8-bit nintendo synth cliché we've heard way too many times in the past couple of years.
I thought progressive music was supposed to progress somewhere. This track doesn't - every time a break enters or a build appears it builds into absolutely nothing. It just reverts right back to where it was. And that key change? Don't make me laugh. That was just weird and out of sync. |
