Really? Is watching a movie or tv any better? i watch MAYBE half an hour of tv a week... it bores me. I find gaming much more entertaining and I'd rather 'waste' time on that than vegging out.
Last I heard, Canadians watch something like 15+ hours of tv a week. IMO 3 hours of gaming is nothing.
My gf enjoys gaming as much as I do and nice to be able to play together. Especially in the winter when it's ting dicks outside.

And they all say "oh, I don't really watch that much TV, just a few shows". I hear ya, but I don't think video games are a much better habit than TV, and IMO it's not really a justification to point out what the average person watches/plays.
Now is posting on TA better than any of those things... that's the big question.

I think video games are better in the sense that they're interactive and encourage communication, teamwork, competition etc. through multiplayer components. TV is a very passive activity where a viewer basically takes whatever information they're fed.
And I wasn't really trying to justify anything. Just putting things into perspective.

Love video games. Always have since I was little. And I know tons of girls who play video games. I don't think it's a waste of time. If its something you enjoy doing...why not? Although I don't spend countless hours playing video games. Prob a few hours a week now, but when I was younger...prob a few hours a day lol.
