I agree with this.
There is no need for people posting like Pete Tongs Essential selection, Anyone who is into that knows they can go to the site for it, same goes for the Essential mixes, the T/L is provided on the site.
On the flip side to that though, i have been downloading alot of unknown newcomer DJ mixes recently and i do have to say there has been some great tracks played that are not getting IDed due to their unknown status on the forums.
Great mix from Lucas, as per usual top tunage!!! :happy2: |

Too common mate, and alot of the time these unknown DJs seem to put more work in.
As you know one of my favourite DJs at the moment has to be luben, the Luben Live @ Audiomax set from april is better than anything ive heard from Danny Howells, Luke Fair or even desyn throughout 2009 but he is a prime example,
I would say he should be up there with the best easily but nobody gives him the credit or attention he deserves, which also makes it extremely difficult to crack his T/Ls.
Same goes for another Unknown DJ ive become very interested by aswel lately, shawn mac, again really nice work but no credit when needed.
Some of the best mixes i have heard in the past year or so have not come from big DJs.
I often wonder if i was to replace their names with say Desyn or Danny Howels.. Would i get more help on the IDs????:stongue: |
