A la recherche de la Slylee perdue - Dec. 09 [Eurodance]

Previous Mixes:

Euro 9
Euro 8
Euro 7
Italo Dance
Euro 6
Euro 5
Euro 4
Euro 3
Euro 2
Euro 1

Here's a new mix for you. As annoying Christmas songs keep playing in the radio I needed something new for my car. This one is a bit longer that usual, was put together pretty quickly and starts out with pop rather than Eurodance. That should give you a chance to grab some beers the first 15 mins, get drunk and start a roomrave afterwards. :D
More clever comments will follow later, it's time for bed now.

Tracklist:

01. Michael Jackson - They don't care about us
02. Pet Shop Boys - Go West
03. Die Prinzen - Alles nur geklaut
04. JX - Son of a Gun
05. Whigfield - Saturday Night
06. Herbie - I believe
07. Sparks - When do I get to sing my Way [Men Behind Mix]
08. Ace of Base - Beautiful Life
09. Shazam - No Guarantee
10. Culture Beat - Got to get it

13. Orlando - Everyday [Factory Team Mix] w/ Klubbheads - Kickin' Hard
14. Maxx - Get-A-Way
15. Swing feat. Dr. Alban - Sweet Dreams
16. Corona - The Rhythm of the Night [Ice MC Space Mix]

the fact that you have posted 10 eurodance mixes here blows my mind :p :wtf:
Clovis
Just for lol I will download this and listen.

You know what blows my mind? This:

:wtf: :stongue:

Edit: I think it was you that liked 'Love in the Time of Cholera', wasn't it? I finally started reading it, ans so far it's pretty good. Certainly better than some other "highly acclaimed classics" that were just terribly written. Except for some passage about Urbino's weaker urine stream, which seemed rather silly in my eyes. :wtf:

Yeah me 6 years ago was pretty funny.

And I did like that book a lot.

Tracklist time!

Sooooo... err... opinions anyone?
montana
hmm, there are some good parts and some bad parts, the tracks are quite nice. loved hearing that die prinzen track again, i haven't heard it in well over 10 years, i remember the video being funny. anyhow, the flow is too patchy, it wasn't really coherent. and i also really liked that ice mc (or robyx) remix of corona, the original is one of those tracks that i just don't like. but this was great.

Thanks a lot for listening and the feedback. What would really help me is if you could specify the parts you didn't like and found patchy. I know this is true for the first 15 mins, as they're more like a random intro of some tracks I like and any intended flow or structure starts only after that. But I'd like to know where exactly the shortcomings are, since, to Clovis' horror I presume, more mixes might follow.
Clovis
lol. Meat do you play any of this music anywhere, what do you mix on?
montana
more or less, it's about the different ways you mix the tracks, the flow is broken a couple of times by where you choose to mix in and out.

Thanks, I see. That's mainly a problem of lack of skill, since I can't always mix where I want to.

You mean big clob? No way, the only places this stuff is heard are my car and my mp3-player. I use Traktor, just do this for fun, and only post it here because no one else does Eurodance and a few guys download it.
ALthough there is this little idea I have, that I'll buy some equipment once I start earning money next year and learn how to DJ properly. So one day I might indeed spin big clob, but I'll probably listen to Deep House by then.

Edit: There's a 90s party every 2 months where I live and I know I'm miles better than the loser who plays there. :p
Clovis
Naw I didn't mean 'big clob', I meant more do you play this for friends or do you have any audience beyond TA?

For me DJing has always been in front of some audience, when I first bought decks it was so I could play music when friends came over to hang out.

I guess you answered the question. And if you're better than some jobber at a 90's party well you should train like rocky and take that ******'s job :p
