Opera moving? closing?

| Its just a matter of weeks now it seems... anyone heard something about opera sharing its clientele with 1234 for the time being? |

Here is the story :
Opera's building is Hyrdo-Quebec's property and they want to get it back to put offices.
The owners of 1234 are getting too old for this business so they are closing the place down .. Opera is going to take over the place and 1234 will close. Btw, during Opera's events the waiters and waitresses are 1234 staff. |

So 1234 is closing and Opera's is essentially only moving to 1234 spot?? Honestly I don't think its a bad change 1234 is a good location and the club itself is decent. I'm sure Opera will redo the renovations that MC Mario put into to 1234 not to long ago and make it more Opera like. But its a good size there is sort of two levels, (the main room and the red room) and the main room is quote large. Can easily make a second level balcony area. Not as huge as what Opera has currently but probably something still semi decent. Personally though I haven't been to 1234 in about 3 years now, mainly cause most of my group of friends are huge Opera whore's (not you Spin I know you don't mind change of venue sometimes) |

wow this is sad!!
opera is one of the best looking club in montreal.
1234 is crap,one of the worst.
they better renovate the whole thing,and hopefully the 16 yrs old crowd doesn't go there anymore either. |
