I don't think they are in a tight corner at all. There is an obvious parallel to dexter's life, the whole born into blood. So he will wrestle with trying to raise his kid differently. You also notice that his dad is always right in the end...meaning Dex knows what to do, but something convinces him otherwise.
I say next season we go back to basics, first few episodes are dex avoiding the team cause they want to help with the grief...all the while dex kills some more mofos. whatever it is I will be watching. |
talk is about it being set in the future, but how far we don't know so it could be as far as dexter teaching his son the 'code' or as short a jump as a few months where he's still being investigated. There is still a chance Lithgow will return, he's said so himself, but maybe not straight away. |

season 2 had the best finale in my opinion. s4 ending just got me so angry :mad: |

season 2 finale was meh but the woman who he killed was a really annoying character in some of our shows too so it lost it's sparkle after she went fully buff.

I'd put faith in these writers not to screw this up. I doubt they wrote 'lets off Rita and see if the show gets picked up for a fifth season'. I am sure they have some kind of idea where to go and they needed Rita dead to go there.
My personal opinion is that they want Harrison to be to Dexter, what Dexter was to Harry. Now with Rita gone, Dexter can do that. I haven't seen all of the fourth season yet, so if this is blatantly obvious, my bad. |

Dexter was 3 or so years old and was in the container for days.
Harrison is 3months old and was in the bathroom for a few hours.
That and you'd have to skip quite a few years before harrison started to show signs of being a violent sociopath. |

or cody & aster, maybe he could teach them to avenge their mother. who knows, the good thing is that they have many places they can go, and so this just means we're all waiting in anticipation |

I am hoping Cody & Asster move in with their grandparents since it is unsafe to live with Dexter, after all they will never find the Trinity killer ;). That would open up a lot more possibilities in the show. |
