Christmas is coming up! And us guys need some advice on what to get the gfs, so give us some input.
I'm thinking of getting her some jewelery and as a funny gift some fuzzy dog slippers. As a girl, would you find use/amusement from slippers (assuming you were a big dog lover)?
What in general is a good idea or is something you personally have been wanting? What's a good price point.
Also dudes chime in if you thought of something especially good. |

Typical for guys to leave it four days before Xmas as well, to start thinking about what to get everyone!

Yeah. I went and attempted to get a Wii for the bf. But they're sold out everywhere. :(
To be fair though, I didn't occur to me to get it for him until this past weekend. :p |

Everyone I know wants money it seems. I'm gonna get my one roomate either a Kwanzaa candlestick thing orrrr some African robes/one of those silly-looking traditional Afican hats.
My little sister I need to save up for but her belated gift will be a Tech 1210 mk2 + cartridge.
My older sister wants money to harvest her festering brood's umbilical cord.

Haha, not kidding.
It makes sense in a pragmatic way since apparently those cells act similar to stem cells and can be used even years later to cure whatever illness the brood happens to get.
But this same sister is also wiccan, so who knows, she might just throw it in a jar with some eye of newt and raindance. |

jenny try www.wiitracker.com I got a wii last yr. for my girl and like you didn't decide to get one till week before...had one from walmart but I didnt have money in my accnt so I went to bank came back to order and they were sold out. amazon must have got a small shipment in and i jumped on it bought one and then they were all sold out right after I got one lol. that site is helpful if it still runs like it used to. ended up getting everything before xmas.
but by this point you are prob. trying to get it in person. not sure what you have around you...try the stores people don't tend to go to sometimes people forget about k-mart/sears and stores like that sometimes. not the bigger stores like best buy etc. good luck! |
