Alright people - post your last-minute gearlusts here. I already emailed Santa and told him where to find our wish lists. The naughty/nice part is up to you.

Here are a few of mine:

Studio Electronics CODE 8OD

Rupert Neve Portico II channel strip

Kurzweil PC3X
DjStephenWiley
the Neve channel strip would obviously be amazing, but most likely way out of my price range and from a needs standpoint the money would be better spent elsewhere.

Honestly, I am content right now. I'm waiting for the next big piece of hardware to hit the market. I don't keep up very much, but perhaps you know what is being developed?

Needs?! Who said anything about needs? We're talking about gearlust here. :p And, AFAIK, Santa's elves work for free in some sort of Arctic sweatshop, so "money spent" isn't even an issue. ;)

Waves MaxxBCL

TL Audio Fat Track

TL Audio Series A2

UAD 2 Quad
Nightshift

djandymac
Storyteller
A lot... But not getting any since I'll be earning a tad less soon so I need to save up a bit. Plus I expect a big tax payment early next year.

I'm looking at one of these for a decent mic pre-amp but also to run a stereo mix through :-

I also want a Yamaha N12 to run mics through and also some 'potential' new hardware ;). It's a nice digital desk so no noise and it's also an audio interface with very neat integration with Cubase :-

I've already picked up my presents :p

Also, there's a second hand MOTU 828 mk2 that I'm considering buying. Does anyone know how the tech support is nowadays with MOTU?

I'd like to try some UAD plugins, but I probably won't be able to afford them.

Nice - did you get in on the EWQL buy-one-get-one-free deal?

I haven't dealt with them personally, but I do have a MOTU 828mkII and it's great. MOTU has a history of pretty bad support for some products (particularly their software instruments, such as BPM, Ethno, etc.), but overall they produce quality hardware gear and their drivers are pretty good. That said, we're still waiting for a driver that officially supports Windows 7 - many of us 828mkII owners are getting occasional clicks/pops/static (not too bad, though) using the latest driver, which does not officially support W7.

I have a Shadow Hills Quad Gama and an API 3124+ coming, and am sending my 896HD to Black Lion Audio for modification next month.
