for a long time i have been thinking, why put any music on the web at all in the first place? make connections with people face to face and build a fanbase the good old fashioned way.

In your defense, that's because you're an idiot.

Luciano should read this article and stop making his ty brand of Mexicani jungle house.

Every one of his songs sounds like some mongoloid flailing away at a drum...hands down the worst in house music right now, bar none.

you're like a little chihuahua, keep nipping at me with little snarky comments calling me an idiot, mentioning me liking alternative dj controllers like the wii (what are we up to, like 5 times now in the past month? its not even insulting and noone finds it funny). nobody responds or replies to them, including me. so why waste the calories? all it does is make you look like you have a hardon for me. do what i do, get a life, and you will care way less to insult people on the internet you've never met. its a sad existence.

i'm with you stevo,

it seems like music propsered just fine before the internet was around. each city had a unique sound and people came out to hear new music instead of browsing beatport.

kind of a double edged sword though, it would seem difficult to be compeditive w/o the internet, nowadays.

too bad we've already had this discussion 1000 times

you guys and your ing underground

yea the underground! and everyone trying to be it! im sick of the underground! im tired of "omg clearly someone who doesnt have the slightest clue", "welcome to last year", "you have taste, you should listen to my grooveless mix of ******y soulful-wannabe disco re edits", and "lol trance".

jupiterone
do people actually try to be underground?

i don't understand what's so hard about it. i also don't get the constant blame on the internet like people are forced to take part in it. wanna be underground? keep your music and hobby to the few in your circle and hand out fliers for your 50 person underground subway/warehouse/farm/sewer rave. stay shirtless because your body temperature is out of control from all that ~*~xTc~*~, but be sure to wear a feather scarf to give you at least some warmth so you don't catch a cold during this harsh winter season. i also hear reel-to-reel dj'ing is getting pretty big in berlin
