Thinking really hard about pulling the trigger here. For one, UAD makes some of the best FX plug ins you can get. #2 it will relieve my processor quite a bit. And #3 it has an extension that allows it to be hooked up to a desktop or laptop. Finally, it's just $499 which is a steal. Just wish the plug-in voucher was a little more. The desk top version at $699 has a $500 voucher!
Thanks guys |

I was say take a look at a TC Powercore too but i've just noticed they don't do a portable model anymore.
Poo.
The bundled plugs are far more generous than the UAD cards, and mostly very good too.
Plus you can get the Virus plug and also the VSS3 reverb (aaaawesome) |

I've done some research on the UAD-2 SOLO and i think its worth every penny if a) you own a laptop and make music primarily through it and b) you are getting more progressed in your skills as a producer and want to use many effects, channels and begin getting more serious as a producer.
Will save you on your laptop's performance, if you really feel you are ready to get to the next step of making beats, i say go for it. If not sure still, go with your instinct! |

Nothing else I can think of would describe you better. Is your small? What else could possibly explain your insatiable urge to on everyone who doesn't meet your standards?
And don't tell me thats not what your doing. You are absolutely talented at being a pos. |

On the other hand he contributed just as much valuable information as the guy he quoted ;).
@Stephen: What's more important, the uad flexibility and being available on multiple pc's or the $500 voucher so you can buy a couple of the most interesting plugins the UAD has to offer? We can't answer that question for you. ;). |
