Hah, my girl doesn't mind it. She feels sleepy way earlier than I do, and she finds that reading a book, in which case I need a lamp, is much more annoying than listening to one, which I can peacefully do in the dark.

| My GF is a champ when she sleeps, instead of snoring she sais and does strange things. The 2 most notable are when in the middle of the night I was woken up by her saying "daddy would you like some sausages". The other was the other night when she started rubbing her hands together and applying imaginary face cream in her sleep. |

Not everybody has the privilege of dating such a reasonable person :) I need to start dating more geeks, they should be more acceptable to toys in bed. And by toya i mean ipods and nintendos, these tend to be a problem.
As for reading in bed...thats why for years now ive been reading most of my books on my phone...a decent sized screen and the reader app that only illuminates text and not the whole screen and the significant other cant notice any light in the room...gotta love progress |
