Alphabeats and Noerg will be ushering the new year with a bang! Bringing you the legendary Robert Babicz aka Rob Acid at Le Salon Daomé, January 15.
Robert Babicz is a battle-hardened producer going back as far as 1991. An artist whose musical caliber is nothing short of Gui Boratto, James Holden or Marc Romboy only to name a few. He is one of the rare musicians having succeeded in reinventing his own sound throughout the years without compromising his roots. Crafting tracks of sheer complexity , he produces audio trips that literally take the dancers away. His 2008 album ''A Cheerful Temper'' harbors hypnotic melodies and a baffling rhythmic flow that characterizes his signature.
Noerg and Alphabeats are therefore proud to offer you a live act of this scope in the intimate atmosphere of Le Salon Daomé, 141 Mount-Royal east. Soundshaper, versatile artist and turntables maestro, will be kicking off this event at10 pm for the outrageous price of $9.00 before midnight and $11.00 thereafter.
