This might be nice for people considering EWQL PLAY instruments, particularly one of their orchestra ensembles:

I haven't downloaded it, but apparently it's three files totaling about 1GB. Before downloading it, I strongly urge you to look at the following KVR thread, because not everyone is overjoyed about it due to questionaires, spam, etc. (but, then again, KVRers complain about EVERYTHING!):

I downloaded it and flipped through some of the instruments. It includes a couple dozen sounds from their Silver edition. The selection of sounds and articulations is pretty limited, but, like all EWQL instruments, the quality is excellent and it includes their convolution reverb. Downloading all three files took about 25 minutes total and installation was pretty painless. |

Nice find. I wish my internet wasn't so slow (325k DSL), I'd DL it. I don't mind answering a survey, so long as I get something for it. |

EW sounds better but it is cumbersome to use.
Miroslav Philharmonic sounds like but is small, easy to use and great for sketches. If you are just using it as pad like textures, EW is probably what you want. |
