Happy Holidays everyone!
This is my holiday gift for every trance addict out there. I've worked really hard on this and it's special because it's the holidays, it's the end of the year, and it's my 15 piece ever.
It's also separated so that you can just burn these to CDs. There are 4 parts.
Bit rate: all are 192kbps
Length: In between 1hr-1hr15min
Size: No more than 100 MB

I must say: your mixing seems pretty solid! Any chance you used software to mix this? :p
Liked how you mixed the first 2 tunes, but then tune #3 was a bit too happy after 'DNA'. I expected a more deep sounding tune there.
Then I totally LOVED the smooth progtrance flow until you mixed in 'Be Free'. From there on the mix became a bit too 'dry' for me. Somehow I didn't think that the change there with the more techy tunes was in place.. I'd rather would have seen you mixing something like Metropolis there.
But that's maybe just a matter of taste. Loved how you ended with Stadium Four btw!

Awesome start! :) Also loved how you kicked of with the first tunes, but again here I thought that the 3rd tune was a bit out of place.. I think I expected a tune with more energy here.
I really LOVED how you continued with tunes like Exposure, Peace and Fahrenheit (really need to mix Peace myself someday :D).
It's a personal thing I guess, for at the end of the mix (when Surreal starts) I found it a pity the energy immediately decreased..
I always love some banging full on trance tunes at the end.
Liked this mix the best of the 2 I listened anyways. ;)
Maybe I'm a bit too critical, but I hope this still helps you out in some way!
Will definately check the other mixes too, but don't know if I'll also get to reviewing them... :nervous: |
